This site is set up for my Son, my only son Neil James Zatyka Cole, born the 8th June 1986, in Lincoln, who died one week before his 19th birthday
in Truro hospital ITU on the31st May 2005. He was riding down Trevelque hill on his long board, he hit a ruck in the road and landed on his head at an estimated speed of 30 mph, he sustained serious head injuries. We his family was with him, his sister, half sister, half brother plus Amy,(ex girlfriendknown as Daisy ) Will Day, a friend, Nick Day, Pete, Sooty, Wayne, Roger, Jay.He went to sleep, at 19.40 hours, never to wake.
On the 7th June, My boy was cremated in Truro, with over 100 people there.
On the 8th June was the memorial service in Swindon, 450 people came to say goodbye to my boy, wearing summer clothes, no black.
September 17th 2005, Allan, Elly, Gemma, Lousie, Gary, Charlie, Jake and others, went to a beach near Fistral Beach, Newquay, and scattered Neils ashes, he was then a true FreeSpirit. Others thought of him in different parts of the world. Charlie played her song This is my GoodBye, we all met again on the 31st May 2006, to remember Neil and we played, the music that reminded us of Neil. Baywatch theme, Jump around,and Heaven is a half pipe, the musicplaying on this site.
My Sister and her husband, Elly and I listened to the Coroner describe and show the photographs of the accident site,plus the pain of the witnesess (I wanted to scoop them up and save them from saying what they had to say) who could do nothing but comfort Neil (it had to be girls) The verdict was Accidental Death.
